CO2 injection is the pressurized addition of carbon dioxide to a planted aquarium to drive plant growth. The make-or-break tool for high-light planted tanks.
Practical use
Components: pressurized CO2 cylinder, regulator, solenoid (for night-off), bubble counter, diffuser/reactor, drop checker for monitoring. Target green drop checker color = ~30 ppm CO2. Run 1-2 hours before lights on, off 1 hour before lights off.
